I am one of the many transplants who relocated to the Jacksonville area in 1985 to get away from the cold Northern winters and I have never looked back. I enjoy everything that Florida has to offer, from the beaches on three coasts, to historical sites such as Saint Augustine and throughout the state. And let us not forget the wonderful amusement parks in Orlando!
My work history is mostly in retail, but when I moved to Jacksonville, I took a job, behind the scenes in the banking industry in Bond Administration. While I found this work very challenging, I missed the one on one contact that I had in the retail world. My husband and I decided to take a risk and start our own business with locations in Jacksonville and Orange Park. And yes, we are still married! While I would not recommend that everyone work with their spouse, we each had our individual talents that we could both bring to the business and that worked for us. We sold our business in 2003 and took a much needed vacation.
I have always been interested in Real Estate and thought that this would be a great opportunity to become a RealtorŪ. I have truly enjoyed it! My first year I had $1.25 million in sales and the second year, close to $2.8 million. I strive to improve every year. My work ethics have always been to be honest with everyone that I deal with and to do more than expected. My goal is to give a high quality of service and have clients for life.
