Margaret's Walk was named after Margaret Seton Fleming who lived in North Florida all her life and was originally from Fernandina Beach. Margaret married Lewis Fleming in 1837 and they had seven children. Margaret passed away in 1878 but her name still lives on in this beautiful community and is featured in the book 'Margaret's Story' by Eugena Price.
